Pooja Shah
Of Counsel
Pooja Shah practices business and intellectual property law. As part of her business law practice, Pooja counsels on compliance and risk management matters. Pooja is also active in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space and provides counsel to a global bitcoin exchange platform regarding transactional, KYC, AMC, and regulatory matters. Pooja started her career working at a large law firm and expanded her experience to serve as counsel to Morgan Stanley on governance, regulatory, and compliance matters.
Pooja earned a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. in English, and Philosophy (with a Chemistry minor) from Boston College. During law school, she was a managing editor at Cardozo Jurist, the school's newspaper, and also worked as an extern at the Domestic Violence Project helping survivors navigate legal and social services.
Pooja is also a freelance travel and culture writer with bylines in Thrillist, Huffington Post, Women's Health, and Vogue. She enjoys being a mentor to aspiring law students and encouraging women of color, especially South Asian women, to pursue their professional and personal dreams.
